Who we are

Informed Decisions LLC runs Informed Decisions and its membership, Secondary SEL and Advisory Simplified (SSAS). This page tells you what information we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

We collect:

• Your name and email address when you sign up for a free resource or buy a membership.
• Your role, such as teacher or school counselor, if you choose to tell us on a sign-up form.
• Your order history, like what you bought and when.
• What you do in the member area, like which trainings you open and finish.
• What you post in the members’ community.
• Basic technical details, like your IP address, your browser and cookies.

Your card details go straight to our payment company (Kajabi Payments). We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Give you access to what you signed up for or bought.
• Send receipts and account emails.
• Send teaching tips and offers by email. You can unsubscribe in any email.
• See how the site is used so we can make it better.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information.

We share it only with the companies that run our member area, payments, email and community, and only so they can do that work for us:

• Kajabi: our member area, checkout and website pages.
• Kajabi Payments, which runs on Stripe: payments.
• ActiveCampaign: our email newsletter and free resource emails.
• MemberUp: our members’ community, until it moves into Kajabi.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep you logged in and to count visits.

We may also use tools like the Meta pixel to see how our ads are doing. You can turn off ad tracking in your browser or in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link at the bottom of any email.

You can ask to see, fix or delete the information we have about you. Email Leslie@informeddecisionsedu.com.

Depending on where you live, the law may give you more rights over your information. Email us and we will help.

Children and students

This site is for teachers and other adults. It is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Please do not enter student names or any other student information on this site.

How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website can promise perfect security.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you have an account or are on our email list, and as long as the law requires for tax and order records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top of this page.
